ICTP Workshop: Aerosol - Climate Interactions: Mechanism, Monitoring and Impact in Tropical Regions.

The International Centre for Theoretical Physics Abdus Salam (ICPT) in Trieste, in co-operation with the Egyptian Meteorological Authority and Cairo University, is organizing a Workshop on "Aerosol-Climate Interactions: Mechanism, Monitoring and Impact in Tropical Regions", from 11 to 15 February 2008.            
The workshop is open to young researchers and PhD students working in the areas of atmospheric physics, climatology and oceanography, from countries in the tropics that are members of the United Nations, UNESCO or IAEA. Participants should have an adequate working knowledge of English.            
Citizens from countries of accreditation of the Embassy of Italy in Abidjan (Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Liberia, Niger, Sierra Leone) who fulfil the above mentioned conditions, can apply before 15 October 2007.
