The building

The building of the Italian Embassy in Athens was designed at the end of  the 19th century by the architect Ernst Ziller and it used to be the residence of Prince Nikolaos (son of the King Constantine I and Queen Sophia). Later on it became a branch of the Grande Bretagne Hotel.
