In 2005, production of textile declined to 102,532 million square metres from 111,637 million square metres in 2004, equivalent to a decrease of 8.9 percent. Production of sisal ropes was 6,018 tons in 2005 compared to 5,161 tons in 2004, equivalent to an increase of 16.6 percent. Fishnets production increased to 274 tons in 2005 from 260 tons in 2004, an increase of 5.4 percent.
