Qatar has reacted with extreme calm to the suicide bomb attack of 19 March 2005 against the Doha Players Theatre.
The only threat to Qatar prosperity could come from similar terrorist actions or from the deterioration of the regional political scene linked to developments of the Iranian nuclear issue.
An attack against Iran, the regional power which shares with Qatar the huge natural gas deposit  ‘North Field-South Parsi’  could lead Qatar to the forefront either  for the geographic proximity or for the reason of hosting two American military bases with unavoidable consequences also on the economic plan.
Furthermore, in the bright picture of  Qatar’s economic development some shadows are present , for example, the surging of  a strong inflationary pressures.
