Qatar is currently committed to huge real estate, tourist and infrastructural projects. In this framework it seems useful to organize, in cooperation with the Italian Trade Commission (ICE) based in Dubai, some promotional initiatives focused on the field of building materials.
An event concerning the tourist market would also be important.
The 2008 schedule will include a larger edition of the ‘Italian Festival’, likely in collaboration with `Landmark' trade center and other renowed shopping malls.  

As regards the promotional events in Qatar for 2008 there are:   
- Project Qatar (Italy in Fair);
- Italian Festival (Festival) ;
- INFDEC - Doha International Furniture, Decoration & construction (Italy in Fair);  
- Workshop on marble and its use in architecture (Workshop).  

All the events scheduled in the 2008 will be held in Doha.
