AUGUST 2007. Organization of JENAM 2007 in Yerevan

On August 20-25 the Joint European and National Astronomy Meeting (JENAM) was organized in Yerevan by the European Astronomic Society. About 250 scientists from 35 different countries took part in the event. The Italian delegation was the largest: it consisted of 16 specialists from the Universities and the Astronomic Observatories of Rome, Padua, Como, Turin and Trieste. The Ambassador of Italy, Mr. Lavezzo Cassinelli attended the opening ceremony of the international meeting.
