Prime Ministers Brown and Berlusconi meet at Downing Street

Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi met his counterpart Prime Minister Gordon Brown at Downing Street. During a working lunch held at Number 10, the two leaders exchanged views on the crisis between Russia and Georgia, as well as on other major international issues, especially in view of the future Italian G8 Presidency.
 
A joint press conference at Downing Street took place after the meeting.
