Adoption procedures fall under the jurisdiction of the Italian or UK national authorities, depending on the subject’s nationality.
The Consulate’s responsibility is limited to the transmission of the British Courts’ orders to the Italian authorities, so that they are recognised in our country. Advice on local legislation will be provided on request by the adopters
