Meetings:

In June 2004, a Delegation led by the then Foreign Affairs Minister Mwansa made an official visit to Rome, where it took part in a press conference for the presentation of the Report (dedicated that year to President Mwanawasa) by the “Hands off Cain” Association.
In October 2004, a delegation of the Human Rights Commission of the Italian Senate, led by its President Sen. Enrico Pianetta, made an official mission to Zambia with consequences in the social, the economic and the cooperation sectors.
The Foreign Affairs Minister Shikapwasha in June 2005 made an official visit to Italy. On the same occasion, President Mwanawasa went to Rome as Head of a Delegation in order to take part in the 128° session of the FAO’s Council.
