The former Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Sen. Alfredo Mantica, has often visited Nairobi during his mandate. In 2005 he was in Kenya in January (8-13 January) and december (13-14 december). During his last visit in the country, Sen. Mantica met Hon. Raphael Tuju, Minister for Foreign Affairs.

Hon. Tuju has visited Italy in October 2006.
