Welcome to the new web site of the Italian Embassy in Nicosia

    This Web site goal is to facilitate contacts between this Embassy and all those who have interest for our Country and Cyprus in the attempt to boost relationships between the two Countries now both partner in the European Union. 

    The dialogue between Italians and Cypriots is favourited by shared cultural affinities and common way of life. In prospective there are opportunities to increase relationships between the two countries, also in terms of the common European identity.
    
    Such affinities have made possible and favourite a more tight and intense political dialogue, a further strengthening of the economic-commercial relationships, an increased exchange of cultural initiatives and the launched of new initiatives of cooperation in several fields not yet entirely explored. 

    There is room for improved relations which the Embassy is willing to boost working with new and old Cypriot counterparty.
