Cultural cooperation

Cooperation between the two countries in this sector is very deep. This is obviously due to common ancient cultural and historical origins that both countries share.

“The Italian Month” has been increasingly successful in Cyprus, which includes a wide range of events, concerning Italian music, culture, design and gastronomy.

Moreover, several Cypriot exhibitions have contributed to make the Italians more aware of a country like Cyprus, and to realize how close the two cultures are. In this particular context, it is very important to point out that Cypriots’ interest towards the Italian language has been remarkably increasing in secondary schools during the last four years.
