Adoption in Yemen is fairly complicate.
Adopter  should be Muslim, financially capable to adopt and raise the adoptee, grant that the adoptee will be raised according to the Islamic values and maintain the religious and cultural background of the adoptee. Approval from the Ministry of Interior is required.
